State Farm has been an intricate part of my life since college. I first started working for State Farm agents in both Cedar Falls, where I attended the University of Northern Iowa, as well as Dubuque, where I spent my summers answering phones, assisting customers, and learning from some of the most experienced State Farm Agents in the field. After graduating with my B.A. I took a claim's rep position in Cedar Falls and eventually worked my way up to a claim's manager position in 2003. In 2010, I crossed over to become my own boss, and State Farm Agent. I opened my agency in 2013, right here in the wonderful town of Grimes, IA. I absolutely love my role as a State Farm Insurance Agent and look forward to the next 25 years!

I met my husband, Kevin, while we were both working as State Farm Claims representatives in Cedar Falls. Together, we have three amazing children. Our eldest, Zachary, is 24 and has Down Syndrome; he’s focused on learning life skills and working. Jake, my 19-year-old (not THAT Jake), is pursuing a plumbing apprenticeship. Our youngest, Addison, is currently in 11th grade.

Today, as your local State Farm Insurance Agent in the Dallas-Center Grimes area, I oversee an experienced team to bring you the right insurance coverage at every stage of your life. No matter how complex your needs are, my team and I keep one simple goal in mind: to help you get the coverage you need, with the personal service you’d expect from any hometown company.
